David duChemin
Photographer David duChemin is addicted to the notion that compelling stories can be told in a single frame. It started with a Voigtlander camera purchased at a garage sale and just never ended. In his teen years he took a photography class and, given the chance to trade away his social life for long hours in the darkroom with smelly chemicals, he took the deal and has never been the same.
An international photographer, David has a particular passion for clients who work with orphans and vulnerable children, a passion which has led him to shoot around the world for World Vision. Pursuing images of hope, beauty, and dignity, even within the struggle to overcome staggering odds, David has traveled and photographed in a dizzying variety of countries throughout Africa, Asia, Central and South America, as well as softer assignments in North America and Europe.
