Mehmet Alci's passion for photography first began by observing the interplay between light and shadow. Self taught using traditional
film photography, he transitioned to shooting all digital with the Nikon D70 SLR digital camera and a>Lexar professional memory cards.
By experimenting with different light subjects and studio equipment, he was able to refine his style and unique sense of contrast and
motion. Being completely mesmerized by the human factors in photography, his passion lies in portraits with high contrast and dramatic
lighting and visual effects. His art has arisen from experimentation and leveraging digital post-processing tools. To Mehmet, capturing
a perfect portrait is to develop a clear vision of the subject by recognizing and nourishing their inner essence.
