Thought you'd like to know. After a recent house fire, I dug my camera out of the debris and although the camera is a total loss from
water damage, I was able to get the drive out of it. To my surprise I was able to download the pictures off of it. It is a Lexar 2GB
CompactFlash. Just thought you'd like to know just how reliable your drives are!

I am a photographer and this weekend I photographed a wedding from the beginning to end (from coming down the aisle, the group photos, all
the way to the couple's first dance.) My most important piece of equipment that night was my Lexar Compact Flash (Platinum series, 2GB). Last
night I wanted to get started on downloading and couldn't find the card. I had a heart attack when I found it in the pocket of my freshly washed pants!!!
I held back tears thinking I had ruined about 600 photos from this couple's wedding!! I pulled it out of the pocket and put it in my card reader with
my heart in my throat. And now you will know why I am writing you….every single photograph was still on the card!!
I just wanted to thank you for making a great product that can be washed and dried and still produce great photos!

CSI Portugal
I've recently returned from my holidays in Portugal. While snorkelling I came across a camera some 15 - 20 feet down. It looked
like it had been in the water a while & I took it back to have a look. I retrieved the card and let it soak in clean water for a
couple of hours, dried it and took a look in my camera. Pictures were still there! It seems the camera had been in the water for
just over two weeks...the last pictures were of someone leaning out over the water's edge...presumably that's when the camera
was dropped. It was a real CSI moment....but just goes to show what a great product you guys have!

I can't tell you how happy I am with your Image Rescue software!! This software has saved me from having to re-shoot several jobs now, some of
them out of town and one of them in a helicopter. I have so much more peace of mind knowing that Image Rescue will save the day (and my reputation)
when it's needed. Thank you so much for developing this software!!
Lexar has my complete loyalty now. I will only buy Lexar cards and readers from here out because of the thousands of dollars that Image Rescue has saved me.

JumpDrive USB flash drives

I would just like to comment on how impressed and satisfied I am with Lexar's USB flash memory products. Years ago, I purchased Lexar's "Jumpdrive Sport"
USB stick for its great design. Not only did Lexar have amazing style in their products, but a variety of them as well. I was continually reminded of the
superior design of my Jumpdrive compared to other brands-I work in the IT services profession, and I constantly come into contact with, and use a variety
of products. Not only did my Lexar drive have style, but plenty of substance as well. It was practical, not large or cumbersome to handle, it fit well
into any computer-a problem many other brands have yet to overcome. Its performance was always as good as or better than any other USB flash drive of its
generation.
Finally, what put it far and above any other USB drive I have ever come across was its durability. The flash drives I own and use take a lot of
abuse-knocked against surfaces (like tables, desks, car doors, etc) and on a couple of occasions were left in my pocket while my clothes were put
through the washer and dryer. My Lexar drive was as good as new even after the washer/dryer incident, while the SanDisk Cruzer didn't make it.
A Kingston flash drive died on me after much less abuse-just the usual dropping/bumping involved in my job.
When the current 4GB models arrived, I purchased the Lexar FireFly model because of my past experience with Lexar's USB products. Just last week it
accidentally found itself in the washer and dryer, and again it survived without an issue. So I'd like to thank Lexar for making a quality product,
especially in an age where technology is often made on the cheap.

I just wanted to take a moment to offer my sincere thanks! I have a Lexar Flash Drive and had lost it in near blizzard conditions about three weeks
ago in Milwaukee while getting the snow off my car and trying to get it out of our driveway while trying to get to the office. It had all of our
YTD business records on it and, they were not backed up. Well, by the grace of God, I found the jump drive on my front lawn after we had a warm week
that melted the 10 inches of snow.
I just tried the drive in my computer and it worked like a champ!!! I was able to recover my files and now safely back them up on our home computer.
I was grateful enough to have found the drive after it had been snowblown on to my lawn, but never expected it to run, but wow, what a great surprise
this morning!!!
I just wanted to thank you for the excellent product that withstood three weeks of being under 10 inches of snow and near 0 degree conditions.

I have had this Lexar JumpDrive® Secure II USB Flash Drive (256mb) for more than a year and I keep it with me wherever I go. It's versatile, dependable,
and damned near indestructible. I was headed to work one day and running late to catch a bus into the city, when I finally made it to the bus stop and
got onboard I did my usual check for various items like keys, cards and phone. When I was patting myself down I realized that I wasn't feeling my
usual pocket change/Jump Drive bulge…it was gone, everything I had on it was lost. My photos, letters, operating manuals, work-related projects,
personal e-mails, music, and my own original graphic art, poems and scripts... I was devastated.
Later that day, on my way home, I was walking across the bus-lane that I ran across earlier and down on the ground in front of me was my JumpDrive,
battered and run over by several busses during the course of the day, but it had suffered the damage and survived. The silver-gray painted surface
was damaged and practically worn away, the cap suffered a minor crack but it still snapped tight, and the underside that made contact with the
ground was pitted
and scarred by pebbles. I had to square off part of the drive that was indented (the metal part that actually gets inserted into the usb port), and just
accept the fact that I would have an ugly looking JumpDrive. My only thought was that I would hopefully be able to access it and retrieve the most
important files and trash the rest.
When I plugged it in and got that sound, I was hoping for the best and that's exactly what I got. Every single file was intact, the JumpDrive worked
flawlessly... thanks to the slender design and durable plastic case it took the weight of a day's worth of buses running it over and came out of the
ordeal with a salvageable dent in the metal and scrapes along the plastic case that now define its character. The only thing lost, in fact, was the
ball-chain I used to have attached to the cap-as flat as it was, it did not survive. Thanks for designing such a dynamic product; I have this on the
top of my list of office-related gifts to give to my friends and co-workers.

I would like to thank all of the people at Lexar for making such a superior product. I'm not exactly sure which JumpDrive I have because all of the
writing has worn away but it is the red travel drive with the rubber pullover case.
I have had this JumpDrive for about three years. It spent a year with me in Iraq and it was always on me. No matter what kind of abuse it took it kept
working perfectly. I knew that I had a great product from this alone but my opinion was reaffirmed last month when I left the drive in a pocket and put
it through the wash and the dryer. I was amazement it still worked, thankfully since I have all of my school work on it.
I use this drive every day and I always tell people how great it is. I figured you would like to hear this since everyone likes to hear a job well done.
So, thanks again.

JumpDrive survives 45-minute underwater rescue
My name is Joel Hall and I am a member of the Underwood-Petersville Fire Dept. in Florence, AL. I am a FF/EMT going on 16 years. In December
2004 I responded to a call where a truck had passed a barricaded road that was flooded, and was stranded in swift water. Two other firefighters
and I entered the swift water to start the rescue, about 45 minutes later we were able to retrieve the stranded motorist safely to dry land.
As I started to dry off I emptied my pockets, pulled my keys out, and my door remote didn't work. I reached in again and pulled out my Lexar
128MB JumpDrive. I pulled the cap off and water came out. I feared that I had lost the information and pictures I had stored on my JumpDrive.
I went home and let it dry out for a day or two and plugged it into my computer, and to my surprise it still worked. My car door remote wasn't
so lucky. This is September 15, 2007, almost 3 years later, and my Lexar JumpDrive is still working great. Just wanted to let you know that
your products are great and I am a testament of the quality and durability of your products.

Yesterday I found my 1GB JumpDrive Mercury in my driveway. It had been out in the rain for the past two weeks, had been run over by a minivan
multiple times, and I found it hammered into the gravel. It still works. If I ever need a new Jumpdrive, I'll go straight to your products.
